The assembled training model of the anti-personnel mine POB “Pilka” is designed to train military personnel, instructors and civilians in the topic of mine safety. It helps to teach how to recognize tension mines, understand their structure and typical methods of camouflage, without exposing people to real danger.
The training model POB “Pilka” is equally good in the classroom and in the field: it is used in classrooms of schools and universities, in classes in military units and during mine safety training for civilians. The instructor can clearly show what this tension mine looks like up close, explain the principle of its operation and work out with the group the basic rules of conduct in case of suspicion of mining.
